... seriously. I went to water my thyme plant, which I have pretty much left alone in a pot on the windowsill save for watering, and thought I'd take it outside so that it wouldn't be leaning QUITE so hard towards the window and the sun.

Upon getting it outside I noticed some dead branches tangled in. After I had detangled everything to the point where I could remove the dead bits, I discovered there had been four plants, not one, in the pot, two of them were dead, and one of them was almost entirely hanging over the edge of the pot to get out of the way of the other and get some sun.

... I think I need to do some repotting, and pot them APART, not in the same pot.

And now I smell like food. I've had perfumes with scents that have faded from my skin faster.

So, on Friday instead of driving my mother to take a mamogram, I took my dad to the ER to deal with what we THINK is a bad drug reaction. He's still there now, the doctor for what's wrong with him won't be there till tomorrow. Thank GOD he's a veteran and served long enough to have free healthcare forever for him! His legs from the knees down are swollen and red and blistering, and now his hands are too. Q.Q

I bring this up not to vent, but to explain the fuge, I think it's called, state that I was in when I got home from dealing with that. My mind was firing on less than half available cylinders. I have been drunk with more cognitive abilities. I went to brew a french press full of coffee to try and help; while running on auto I also threw half a head of cabbage on to boil with a bit of vinegar and lemon juice.

When I came back to myself, the coffee had barely been touched, and most of the cabbage was in my stomach. WHAT THE HELL?

Exactly HOW did a pot of cabbage turn me from a state of shut off but not asleep to awake and alert? I just flat out don't get it. Any ideas?
