Okay, gardening.
I do the decorative pots and patio gardening in front, right? Generally colorful leaves and minimal flowers due to bee allergy. Hubby does the flowerbed to the side of the yard, which I generally avoid because he loves lush herbs and vegetables with loads of flowers (cause flowers lead to veggies and deliciousness). But it's early enough that the tree of doom (the one that is at the top of my list for plants that might have the root system that's covering my pipes) has yet to put on the crown of flowers that turns that corner into DEATHDEATHDEATH for me, so I went to look at my hubby's garden.
1: he forgot to pull out the plants once they died.
2: This meant that a couple of the plants apparently survived, tiny new growth at the bottom surrounded by dead stalks.
3: Due to the stalks being very grabby, I can't get back to water the new herbs by the wall.
4: This sucks, cause the ones by the wall are Pineapple Sage, which is delicious and was on my 'plants to buy for hubby's section' list. His favorite plant to grow outside of Basil, really.
Also, in my cedar planting box by the front door the peas I planted are just starting to come up. Lots of little plants just starting to peek their heads over the soil, it's such a thrill!
