I just caught myself trying to filk the song Greensleeves into being about the green sticks they put in the top of your cup when you get your coffee to go at starbucks.
"Alas my love you do me wrong
To switch to decaff so spuriously
Though we both know that my heart's delight
is a double mocha from Starbucks.
Greensticks strewn about my desk
a testement to my heart's desire
Greensticks! Oh what a mess
my love cries but he's second to Starbucks."
And I stopped filking there because my love is NOT second to Starbucks, even though it fits the filking, and besides, it's SILLY.
